Tips and Tricks

Tamara Johnson-Shealey

Oh how I loved to color when I was a kid and life has a way of bringing you full circle... When I graduated from high school, I worked at a bank as a Teller.  I liked my job but after getting robbed for the second time, I realized that was not the career for me. I decided to go to nail school and found my not only was I blessed with a steady hand and an eye for variations of color but being a Nail Technician made me happy...

In 1995, I graduated from nail school and even though I had great instructors, I was terrible at fancy nail services and great at manicures and pedicures.  I could truly polish and loved matching skin tones with the right nail color. (The kid in me came back.)

After nail school, I went on to perfect my skills by working in many salons where I was usually the only Nail Technician.  In 2003, I opened my nail salon, Nails au Naturel, where my first concern was health, safety and the well-being of my customers.  Today, I am still intentional about offering the safest products available... Tamara Johnson-Shealey
