Tamara's
Story/

Oh how I loved to color when I was a kid and life has a way of bringing you full circle... When I graduated from high school, I worked as a Teller in a bank.  I liked my job but after getting robbed twice, I realized it wasn't the job for me. That's when I decided to go to nail school and discovered that I was blessed with a steady hand and an eye for seeing variations of color.  Being a Nail Technician quickly became my happy place.

In 1995, I graduated from nail school, terrible at fancy nail services but great at manicures and pedicures.  I could polish extremely well and loved matching nail polish to skin tones. (The kid in me had truly come back.)

After nail school, I perfected my skills by working in many salons where I was usually the only Nail Technician.  In 2003, I opened my nail salon, Nails au Naturel, where my first concerns were health, safety and sanitation.  Today, I no longer provide nail services but I still love nail polish, helping other Nail Technicians learn and grow and working with my fellow Beauty and Barber Professionals as the Lead Organizer of The Concerned Beauty and Barber Professionals and the Lead Advocate of Politics Beauty and Barber...
